About Conference Ticketing
For the decisions behind every conference ticket.
Choosing a platform is one decision. Setting ticket prices, collecting the right attendee details and getting everyone through the door are the next ones. Conference Ticketing brings those decisions together.
What you will find here
We publish platform comparisons, conference registration guides and fee explanations. Our calculators and templates are free to use without an account. They are intended to help you plan your conference, whichever platform you choose.
Our focus is ticket sales and registration: early bird windows, team orders, attendee questions, workshop add-ons, refunds and check-in. Where a conference needs specialist software for abstract review, accreditation or networking, we explain the boundary.
Who publishes and funds the site
Conference Ticketing is owned and published by Checkout Page, which makes checkout and event ticketing software. Checkout Page funds this site, and we benefit when readers become customers. It is one of the platforms covered in our comparisons.
Our product examples are labeled, and comparisons explain where another platform may fit better. You can read a Checkout Page setup example or visit the product's pricing page when you want to explore it.
People behind the publisher
Sander Visser is a cofounder of Checkout Page and a software developer. Checkout Page began in 2018 and launched event ticketing in June 2024, as documented in its company history and team profiles.
Articles are credited to Checkout Page as the publishing team. Building checkout software informs the product coverage; it does not establish firsthand experience running every type of conference or testing every competing platform.
Our editorial approach
Comparisons based on published information
Platform comparisons draw on vendor pricing pages and documentation. They are desk research, not a hands-on test of every product. Sources and dates accompany fee comparisons. Features can depend on plan, country and integrations; verify the requirements that matter to your event with the provider.
We assess practical requirements such as registration questions, embedding, payout arrangements and check-in. Cost examples compare specified plans under stated assumptions. A lower number in an example is not a claim that a platform is cheapest for every event.
Calculations you can inspect
Our fee examples state ticket price, ticket count and sales period. Subscription commitments and payment processing are different costs. Where prepaid credits, negotiated rates or alternative plans are not modeled, the comparison says so. The fee calculator lets you change the assumptions.
Advice, examples and evidence
Illustrative budgets, discount bands and sales schedules are planning examples, not measured industry averages or promises of sales. Customer stories are attributed to their source. A publisher case study describes that customer's experience; it does not predict another organizer's results.
AI tools assist with drafting and maintaining this site. They are not sources for product claims or substitutes for customer evidence. Product facts should be traceable to linked documentation, and we welcome corrections when the coverage falls short.
